Day Five. It's a bit drizzly and gray but that's okay. We're shooting in the beauty parlor and suddenly our cast has grown. We're expecting three new actors on set today and I think it's going to be fun. For tonight's scene we're also expecting a bunch of drummers and hiphop dancers. I have a feeling Dawn's megaphone will come in handy.
Poor Julia had a massive allergy attack yesterday and so I brought her to Dr. Lao who stuck a metal thing up her nose and sucked out all the nasty smoke she inhaled at the dock. The smoke there is no joke. But it sure looks good on film!
I can't believe we're half way through. Four straight days of shooting and then another day off next Monday. That seems like years away from now.
Meanwhile, the Christmas lights in Manila are up and twinkling. The holiday traffic is getting heavy but hopefully we'll be finished before it becomes unbearable. After this shoot, I'm officially going on vacation.
